Sales Officer

Cleanbodia is a social enterprise aimed at reducing plastic usage in Cambodia by raising awareness and creating innovative products. We sell biodegradable “plastic” bags made with cassava starch which fully degrade in 6 years. Our products are sold to over 400 customers across all of Cambodia.

The Sales Officer is responsible for day-to-day sales operations, ensuring customer orders are processed and delivered in a timely manner. Sales Officer will ensure all customer inquiries and issues are recorded and responded to, as well as inventory and logistics tracking. Daily sales, logistics, and inventory reports are to be prepared and sent to appropriate team members. This position requires a focus on details, clear communication skills, and an organized workspace.

We are looking for:

• Ability to communicate appropriately and timely with customers, vendors, and partners
• Must be organized and pay attention to details
• Able to work well within a team environment or independently on projects
• Problem solving attitude
• Able to communicate in English and Khmer through both speaking and writing
• Basic computer skills and some knowledge of Google's online office suites such as Google Spreadsheets and Google Docs
• Desire and curiosity to learn and apply new skills

Responsibilities:

• Handle all activities involving day-to-day sales and operations
• Coordinate distribution with the delivery company and the customers
• Ensure inventory is accounted for and at appropriate levels at all partner locations.
• Respond timely to customers' emails and messages on Social Media
• Update daily reports for manager

Internship

Cleanbodia is a social enterprise aimed at reducing plastic usage in Cambodia by raising awareness and creating innovative products. As a startup, our current project is the design and distribution of biodegradable plastic bags made from cassava starch.

Cleanbodia seeks a qualified and enthusiastic intern to assist in marketing, sales, and operations. Responsibilities will include assisting in social media marketing, inventory management and logistics, and customer service.

We are looking for:

• A self-motivated, proactive attitude.
• A strong desire to learn new skills and apply them in real world applications.
• A persuasive enthusiasm for social and environmental action.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate appropriately and timely with people at all levels.
• Ability to work well independently.
• Experience of student social action is not essential but would be highly desirable.
• Able to empathize and work with a diverse range of people.

The intern will be based in Phnom Penh, 3-6 months minimum.
